“Leaving Gold”
2014年から続く金箔を使ったシリーズ最新作。
金箔と光として捉えた個展”gold”(2014) 、光に色を加えた”gold & colors”(2015)、日常に風景を意識した”Wandering in Tokyo”(2016)。
今作は時間を意識した”Leaving Gold ” 光（金箔）と時間、その関係性に注目した。金箔は時間と共に変色していく。金の輝きが劣化してくと同時に時間が現れてくる。
流れている時間は、みんな同じ時間なのか。　今回は、その時間を金箔を使ってビジュアライズし、時間をコントロールすることを意識した作品。

About my work :
After leaving my daytime work in Tokyo, I worked in Shimane full-time to create my artwork for 4 months.
Since I started to work, I started to notice the notion of time – how time passes for me seemed to differ from others.
I have been applying gold leaves in many of my paintings, and for this exhibition I again used the old leaves in most of my works.
I say the glitter of gold gradually dulls over time. I also applied varnish and other substances to create various impressions of the gold leaves
in these new works. My aim was to visualize this relationship between time and the gold level that could be interpreted the passage of time.
